Yolanda Marcolivio (Vitale), 82, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Julio Marcolivio. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Vincenza (Giannini) Vitale.
Yolanda was a co-owner and operator of Julio’s Restaurant in North Providence for 48 years. She was very creative and enjoyed painting, ceramics, traveling, and was especially known for her superb wedding cakes.
Besides her loving husband of 60 years, she is survived by her sons, Anthony Marcolivio and his wife Terry, Michael Marcolivio and his wife Cheryl and Robert Marcolivio and his wife Kim; a daughter Lisa Lariviere; a brother Charles Vitale and eight grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Alfred, Ralph and Grace Vitale.
Her funeral will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Visitation Sunday 5-8 pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
