William E. Butti, Jr., 71, of Skowhegan, Maine, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Redington-Fairview General Hospital. He was the husband of Elaine (Gagnon ) Butti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William E. Butti, Sr. and Almerinda “Alma” (Napolitano) Butti.
William worked as a Supervisor for both the Norton and Cowan Companies and also worked for the Lorac Company. He later worked as a Lead Shuttle Driver at T.F. Green Airport.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, William Butti, III; a daughter, Lori Spaziano; two step-sons, Joseph and Ronald Thibedau; a step-daughter, Nicole Page; a sister, Anna DiCarlo and her husband, Gino; six grandchildren, a great granddaughter and a nephew, William DiCarlo. He was the step-father of the late Lawrence and Christine Thibedau.
His Funeral will be held Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Cranston. Visitation Sunday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
