William DeQuattro, 83, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Florence (Destino) DeQuattro; the father of the late William DeQuattro, Jr. and the grandfather of the late Brian DeQuattro. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Olympia (Giannini) DeQuattro.
William was the owner and operator of Mr. D’s Deli in Providence and was previously a supervisor at Imperial Knife.
Besides his wife of 62 years, he is survived by two sons, Paul DeQuattro and his wife Kathleen and Steven DeQuattro and his partner, William Harold; two brothers, Arthur and Eddie DeQuattro and two grandchildren, Britney and Michael DeQuattro. He was the brother of the late Mario, John, Tony, Pasco, Philip, Fred and Eleanor DeQuattro.
His Funeral will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Mary Church, 538 Broadway, Providence. Visitation Thursday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
