Wayne A. Medeiros

Wayne A. Medeiros, 62 of Little Compton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Caldarone) Medeiros. They were happily married for 40 years.
Born in Fall River, MA, he was a devoted son of Dorothy (Derosa) Medeiros and the late Anibal Medeiros.
Wayne was a firefighter/paramedic for over 30 years before his retirement from duty. He served in various communities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island before becoming a full time member of the Little Compton fire department, where he served his community for 22 years before his retirement in 2009.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by a loving son Sean Medeiros and his wife Elizabeth of Swansea, MA; brothers Donald and his wife Doreen and, Ronald and his wife Michelle of Little Compton and James Medeiros of Tiverton and a sister Diane (Medeiros) Labrecque and her husband John Labrecque of Blackstone, MA. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Madyson and Logan.
A memorial service will be held on May 28, 2016 at St. Andrew’s by-the- Sea in the Little Compton, RI at 10:00 am.
