CAMPANILE, VINCENZINA “Vinnie” ( SOLGICCIA), 87, of Providence, passed away, June 1, 2006, at Charlesgate Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Caesar Campanile. A lifelong resident of Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria ( Ferdinando ) Solgiccia.
Vincenzina had been a jewelry worker in the Providence area for many years. She was a loving wife and mother and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
She leaves a son, Louis C. Campanile and his wife Andrea; a daughter, Carole A. Fournier; two sisters, Agnes and Esther Spremulli; four grandchildren, Michael and Melissa Campanile, Sherry Arnold and Raymond Fournier and four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Katherine Arnold and Olivia and Zachary Fournier. She was the sister of the late Antonio Solgiccia, Victoria D’Ambra, Angelina Pernorio and Mary Cifelli.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St. Providence. VISITATION Sunday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters Of The Poor, 964 Main St., Pawtucket, R.I. 02860.
