Vincent L. DeLuca, Jr., 79, of Smithfield, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Cortland Place. He was the beloved husband of Laura A. (Maio) De Luca. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vincent L. DeLuca, Sr. and Christina (Comite) DeLuca.
Vincent was an electrician with the IBEW, Local 99 before retiring. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife of 53 years, he leaves two sons, Raymond and Anthony DeLuca; four daughters, Laurie Fox, Donna DeLuca, Cathy DeLuca and Linda Jacquart; two brothers, Michael J. and Richard F. DeLuca; a sister Antonette K. Madonna; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Raymond E. and Anthony J. DeLuca.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave. Greenville. VISITATION Friday 5-7pm in the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St., Providence, RI 02906.
