Tilda R. Maceroni

TILDA R MACERONI. (IAPAOLO), 75, of Lincoln, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Women & Infants Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Maceroni. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Helen (Perry) Iapaolo.
Tilda was an administrative assistant at Fleet Bank for 20 years, retiring in 1994. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling. An avid golfer, she was a member of Louisquisset Golf Club.
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by two sons, Robert A. Maceroni and his wife Lynn and Stephen M. Maceroni; a daughter, Donna M. Broccoli and her husband Robert and six grandchildren. She was the mother-in-law of the late Denise Maceroni and the sister of the late Josephine DeVecchis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Respectfully Omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tilda’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd. Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
