Thomas I. Sant, 56, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Benedicti) Sant. Born in Newport, he was the son of the late William and Rose (Silvia) Sant.
Thomas had worked as an Environmental Enforcer for the City of Providence, Dept. of Public Works. He was a member of the Madonna Del Rosario Society of Providence.
Besides his wife of 33 years, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Teresa Sant; two brothers, Timothy Sant and his wife Patricia and John Sant and his wife Sharon; three sisters, Lois Grover, Velma Hudson and Desley Sant Parker and her husband Brance, and his mother-in-law Jennie Benedicti. He was the brother of the late Manuel Sant.
His funeral will be held Friday at 10am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence. VISITATION Thursday 2-4, 7-9. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Donations in his name may be made to Holy Cross Church Memorial Fund, 18 King Philip St., Providence, RI 02909.
