Theresa D. Parente (Tedesco), 70, of Johnston, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vito A. and Santina (Caruso) Tedesco.
She leaves her three cherished children, Anthony Parente, JoAnne Rose and Valerie Scaglione; her longtime companion of 30 years, Gary Swaida; a brother, Frank Tedesco; two sisters, Corrine Alviti and Frances Magnotta; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Visitation Friday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
