Teresa Petrone

TERESA PETRONE (LePERA), 82, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 5, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Cosmo Petrone. They were happily married for 54 years.
Born in Acri, Cosenza, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Annunziata (Fondanella) LePera.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Antonetta Upton and her husband Daniel of Smithfield and Joseph Petrone of Greenville; a brother, Cosimo LePera and his wife Giovanna of Providence and sisters, Angelina and Rosaria “Lisa” LePera, both of Italy. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Stephanie DiTommaso and her husband Jaron, James and Sarah Upton and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Antonio, Assunta and Salvatore LePera.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning, October 10, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 9:15am at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Avenue, Providence, RI 02909.
