Teresa Evangelista

Teresa Evangelista (Maceroni), of Providence and Hollywood Beach, Florida, passed away Friday, February 20, 2009 at Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Romolo Evangelista. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arduino and Angelina (Pelozzi) Maceroni.

Teresa was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church.

Besides her husband of 49 years, she leaves two sons, Edward M. Evangelista and his wife Renee and Richard J. Evangelista and his wife Mia; two sisters, Jennie Esposito and Elena Venditelli and five grandchildren, Alex, Edward, Richard, Gianna and Robert Evangelista. She was the sister of the late Brigida Cioe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
