SUSAN TESSAGLIA (CIPOLLA), 79, of Johnston, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2006, at home. She was the wife of Domenic A. Tessaglia. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Julia (Asciolla) Cipolla.
Susan had been employed as a Medical Secretary for Dr. Harry Iannotti and Dr. Nathan Chaset as well as the Charles V. Chapin Hospital. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Little League Parrents Association and a founding member of the Parents Association of LaSalle Academy. She was also an avid Yankee fan and an animal lover.
Besides her husband of 57 years, she leaves three sons, Armand Tessaglia and his wife Lynn, Raymond Tessaglia and his wife Janice and Robert Tessaglia and his wife Suzanne.; a sister, Frances Rinaldi and three grandchildren, James, Edward and Sydney Tessaglia. She was the sister of the late Albert Cipolla and Lena DeFelice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visiting hours repsectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
