Steven A. Natale, 53, of South Kingstown, died December 20, 2010 and was much beloved by his family and numerous friends. He is survived by his son, Julian K. Natale and his wife, Brandi (DeValerio) Natale.

Born in Providence on April 8, 1957, the son of Saverino A. and the late Lillian (Darnborough) Natale of North Providence. He is survived by a sister, Jane N. Gemma of South Kingstown; four brothers, Lawrence A. Natale of Lincoln; Thomas Natale of Las Vegas, Nevada; Gregory Natale of Scituate and John Natale of North Providence; six nephews; three nieces and four great-nephews. He was the brother of the late Dennis Natale.

Steven was a member of the Airline Pilots Association International, a Certified Airline Pilot and Instructor, an Airline Transport Pilot and a Flight Engineer. He was a pilot for ASTAR Air Cargo since 1996.

His greatest joy in life was his son Julian. He was an avid cyclist and car enthusiast. He gave selflessly of his time to help care for his late brother and ailing father. Steven was an important part of the Natale family and will be dearly missed by all of us including Doreen, Linda, Rose and Lorraine Natale and Richard Koske.

Visitation Thursday morning 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Steven’s name to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA. 02115, where his brother Dennis was treated.
