Stanislawa Nowakowska

Stanislawa Nowakowska (Buchala), 95, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 15, 2015. She was the wife of the late Czeslaw Gawdzik Nowakowski.

Born in Rudze, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Wladyslaw and Rozalia (Leszczynska) Buchala. She lived in Poland during WWII and for many years in Zakopane, Poland. In 1993, she moved to the United States and lived in North Providence with her family. She was a faithful member of St. Adalbert Church in Providence.

She is survived by her daughter, Halina Sobanski and her husband, Wladyslaw and 3 grandchildren, Adriana Sobanski, Steven Sobanski and his wife Monika and Christopher Sobanski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 26th at 11am at St. Adalbert Church, 866 Atwells Avenue, Providence. Inurnment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
