Sheila J. Smith (McCaffrey), 64, of North Providence, a retired realtor, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 at home. She was the beloved wife of Walter P. Smith. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincent T. and Mary C. (Dolan) McCaffrey.
Sheila was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her husband of 42 years, she leaves a daughter, Dawn J. Smith and her partner, Sharon Day; a sister, Carole Fandetti and two grandchildren, Makayla and Alexandria Smith. She was the mother of the late Jason W. Smith.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. VISITATION Friday 4-7pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
