Rose Provazza (Isabella), 94, of North Providence, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at Berkshire Place. She was the wife of the late Annunzio Provazza. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo and Antoinette (Manfredi) Isabella.
Rose was the owner and operator of Elsie’s Chicken Coop in Swansea, MA and later worked at the former Outlet Company Department Store.
She leaves her beloved daughter, Elaine Provazza-Goss and three sisters, Anna Cimino, Lena Mahoney and Ethel Hornstein. She was the sister of the late Mary Cracchiola and Julia Isabella.
Visitation at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Monday morning from 9: 15 to 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
