Rose T. Perella

Rose T. Perella (Padula), 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 10, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Perella, who she was married to for 52 years.

Rose was a loving and devoted homemaker, mother and wife who was an amazing chef, seamstress and Scrabble player. She also held various professional jobs, including retail sales, real estate and administrative positions.

She is survived by her loving children, Thomas Perella and his wife Susan, Joanne Perella, and Terrie Pirozzi and her husband Rob; cherished grandchildren, Joseph and Michael Perella and Christopher Pirozzi; a sister, Angela Molica and sisters in-law, Albina Santucci and Terry Padula. She was the sister of the late Pasquale Padula and Felice DelTufo. Born in South Boston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela (Liuzzi) Padula.

Her funeral will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 9am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours will be Thursday 4-7pm.
