RIVERA, ROSE M., of Providence, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2006, at Elmhurst Extended Care. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Eugenio and Josephine (Ronzio) Rivera.
Rose had worked as an inspector for the former Uniroyal Rubber Company for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church.
She leaves two beloved sisters, Emma Mazzarella and Olympia Boutier and was a devoted aunt to her several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the beloved sister of the late Anthony and Americo Rivera and Dr. Eugene P. Rivera.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. VISITATION Wednesday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Donations in her memory may be made to Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence, R.I. 02909.
