Rose Marcello (Liberatore), 90, of Providence, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul L. Marcello. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Santino and Teresa (Noviello) Liberatore.
Rose was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family. She leaves two daughters, Diane Borkowski and Paula Marcello; a brother, Mario Liberatore; two sisters, Mary Liberatore and Anna Rucco; two grandsons, Paul and Michael Borkowski and a great granddaughter, Jocelyn Borkowski.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10:30am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in St Edward Church, 997 Branch Ave., Providence. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Children’s Friend & Service, Project Connect, 153 Summer St., Providence, RI 02903.
