Rose C. DaRocha

ROSE C. DA ROCHA (ROSA), 82, of Johnston, previously of Providence, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Victor DaRocha. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine (Comella) Rosa.

She leaves two sons, Victor J. DaRocha and Steven Da Rocha; five daughters, Sandra Vicca, Valerie Palazzo, Kathy Trementozzi, Rosemarie Barre and Michele DaRocha; three brothers, Antonio “Tinny” Rosa, Salvatore “Chubby” Rosa and Vincent Rosa; two sisters, Teresa DiCicco and Virginia Moreau; sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Thursday morning, April 18, 2013 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
