ROBERT J. TAVANO, 72, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2013 at North Bay Manor. He was the beloved husband of Marie B. (Scalise) Tavano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paul and Filomena (Ferrieri) Tavano.
Besides his wife of 50 years he is survived by his cherished daughters, Michelle, Debra and Joy-Ann Tavano; a sister, Evelyn Bianco and his three treasured grandchildren, Gianna, Jacob and Mirelle. He was the brother of the late Paul Tavano.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, August 20, 2013 from 8:45 – 9:30 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
