Ralph DeFelice

Ralph DeFelice, 92, of Providence, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Briarcliffe Manor. He was the husband of the late Lena “Lee” (Cipolla) DeFelice and son of the late Pietro and Isabella (Campopiano) DeFelice.

Mr. DeFelice was a steel handler for Imperial Knife before retiring and was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a devoted Yankees fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Ruggiero and husband, Richard; his son, Peter DeFelice; two grandchildren, Judith “Jodi” Ruggiero and Richard “Rick” Ruggiero; two great grandchildren, Brianna and Robert; four additional grandchildren and their families and the caring staff at Briarcliffe. He was the brother of the late Anna Carlone, Anthony DeFelice and Benedetto DeFelice.

His funeral will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial will be Private.
