Philomena “Fanny” Vincent (Vollaro), 88, of North Providence, formerly of East Providence, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur X. Vincent. Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rafaella (Respoli) Vollaro
Fanny was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, She loved to bake and have her family over for the holidays. She was a volunteer at Evergreen and Orchard View Nursing Homes.
She leaves two sons, Robert A. Vincent and his wife Claudia and John J. Vincent and his wife Cheryl and five grandchildren, Lisa Horta, Jessica, Nicholas, Amanda and Daniella Vincent. She was the mother of the late Arthur R. Vincent and the sister of the late Alphonse Vollaro, Celia Pacheco, Anella Souza, Grace Travers, Josephine Ferreira and Mary Vollaro.
Her Funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m., from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in St Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. VISITATION Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
