Philip V. Scandariato

April 27, 1925 — January 10, 2014

Philip V. Scandariato, 88, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 10, 2014 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Gina (Baldiassare) Scandariato. They were happily married for 66 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Jack and Christina (Carmella) Scandariato.

Mr. Scandariato was the former owner of Getty Gas Station, Mineral
Spring Ave., North Providence for many years before his retirement. He was a Marine Veteran and served during WWII.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Philip G. Scandariato and his wife Deborah and Rebecca Notardonato and her husband Richard; a brother, Cosmo Scandariato and sisters, Josephine Corsetti and Theresa Ricci. He is also survived by his cherished grandson, Philip Notardonato. He was the brother of the late Bartolo Scandariato.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11am in Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by Maceroni Funeral Home, North Providence.
