PHILIP MANZO, 61, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 14, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Nicholas and Rose (Cesino) Manzo.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving children, Alexandra Manzo and her wife, Barbara and Marisa Manzo-Borino and her husband, Nickolas. He was the companion of Michaela Violet and loving friend and former spouse of Dr. Elizabeth Manzo. He also leaves his brother, Nicholas Manzo:, his sisters, Linda Binder and Rosemary Tutsch; his cherished grandchildren, Mila, Michael, Alyssa and Elena and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Anne Marie Manzo.

Philip was a Jeweler for 40 years and was the owner of Philip Manzo Enterprises of Cranston. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming and quahogging. He was a member of the Teramano Social Club and the Narragansett Fishing Club. Phil will be remembered for his love of life, family and especially his generosity.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, November 19th at 8:45am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-7pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
