Peter C. Villella, 71, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Ascenzi) Villella. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Carlo and Olga (Mollo) Villella.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Gina DiIorio and her husband Jim and Peter Villella, Jr. and his wife Jennie; cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Jordan Villella, Vanessa, Gregory and Juliana DiIorio; mother in-law, Edith Ascenzi; brother-in-law, Vincent Ascenzi; niece, Bianca Ascenzi and a nephew, Damon Ascenzi. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
Peter opened up his heart and home to everyone and his generosity will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday morning, March 11th from 9am to 10am in the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
