Peter J. Simeone

PETER J. SIMEONE, 88, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Rhode Island Veterans Home. He was the husband of the late Mafalda (Riccardi) Simeone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rocco and Carmela (DiMichele) Simeone.

Mr. Simeone worked for UniRoyal before retiring and later worked as a security guard for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI. He was also a Navy Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his brother, Nicholas Simeone; a sister, Angela Squillante and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Louis and Madeline Simeone.

Visiting hours will be held THURSDAY MORNING, March 12, 2015 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Rhode Island Veterans Home, 480 Metacom Ave., Bristol, RI 02809.
