PETER J. FRATANTARO, 89, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Aceto) Fratantaro. They had been married for 58 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicola and Teresa (Tine) Fratantaro.
He had worked as Supervisor of the Expediting Department for N.E. Butt Company of Providence, a manufacturer of industrial equipment. He was a member of the U.C.T.
Peter was a loving husband and father and a devoted grandfather. Besides his wife Anna, he leaves a son, Peter N. Fratantaro and his wife Judy; a brother, Salvatore C. Fratantaro; a nephew Salvatore N. Fratantaro and two granddaughters, Nicole and Ariane Fratantaro. He was the brother of the late Raffaela Fratantaro.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian at 10am in St. Lawrence Church, Woonasquatucket Ave. North Providence.VISITATION Monday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
