Paul S. Gagnon, 80, of North Providence, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at Heritage Hills Nursing Centre. He was the beloved husband of Therese M. (Gosselin) Gagnon. Born in Cookshire, Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Normidais and Odiana (Roi) Gagnon.
Mr. Gagnon worked as a loom mechanic for various textile mills before retiring.
Besides his wife of 60 years, he leaves a son, Andre Gagnon and his wife Michelle, two daughters, Carole Gregory and her husband Thomas and Claudette Grissom; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Ginette Paglia.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8AM, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Visitation Monday 4-7 PM. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
