Paul E. Cardin

Paul E. Cardin, 61, of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Joanne M. (Pacheco) Cardin. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Roudolphe and Violette ( Morissette) Cardin.

Paul was a machinist at Health Tex Industries and at various other manufacturers before retiring. He was a member of Seekonk Congregational Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, specifically camping, boating, mountain climbing, and motorcycling. Paul was an avid NASCAR fan, and looked forward to watching the races each weekend. Most of all, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family either going on short road trips, watching TV or movies, or going to church and local events.

Besides his wife of 30 years, he is survived by a son, Jason D. Cardin; a daughter, Michelle L. Kwolek and her husband, Jason and two grandchildren, Angelina S. Toledo and Aaron C. Kwolek. He was the brother of the late Renee B. Harris.

Visitation at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Seekonk Congregational Church, 600 Fall River Avenue, Seekonk, Thursday 11:30am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donation in his memory may be made to Seekonk Congregational Church, 600 Fall River Ave., Seekonk, MA 02771.
