Pasquale "Pat" Giarrusso

PASQUALE “PAT” GIARRUSSO, 99, of North Providence, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of the late Louisa “Louise” (Martini) Giarrusso. They had been married for 72 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Leonardo and Rosa “Rose” (Liguori) Giarrusso.

Pat worked as a Manager for Blacker Brothers Manufacturing for over 50 years and later worked for the Providence School Department. He was a Past President and Treasurer of AFLCIO Local 100 and was a member of Society Incoronata di Puglia.

He leaves a son, Lee Giarrusso; two daughters, Lucille Damon and Rose Martella; two grandchildren, Melissa Dottor and her husband Christopher and Patricia Melucci; and two great grandchildren, Chad and Cole Dottor. He is also survived by Frank St. Pierre. He was the father of the late Angela Giarrusso and the brother of the late Mario, Angelo and Michael Giarrusso.

Visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, August 12, 2014 from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
