Orlando Giarusso, 86, of North Providence, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Gloria F. (Barbato) Giarusso for 62 years. Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late John and Marianna (Pompa) Giarusso.
Mr. Giarusso was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Steven Giarusso and his wife Kathryn; and four grandchildren, Steven Giarusso Jr., Christopher Giarusso, Matthew Giarusso and Brianna Giarusso. He was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held WEDNESDAY MORNING, May 11, 2016 from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a service at 10 a.m. at the Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Johnston. Interment with Military Honors will follow.
