Nicholas J. Barricelli, Sr.

NICHOLAS J. BARRICELLI, SR. “NICK”, 84, of Providence, the beloved husband of the late Katherine “Kay” (Santopadre) Barricelli, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. He was the son of the late Domenico and Celesta (Iannuzzi) Barricelli and the father of the late Nicholas J. Barricelli, Jr.
Nick worked at the Narragansett Electric Company for 40 years, receiving the Award of Excellence in 1988.
He leaves two sons, Anthony Barricelli of Providence and Joseph Barricelli and his wife, Donna of Cranston and his grandchildren, Lauren, Michael, Michele and Jessica; his brother, Vincent Barricelli and sisters Jeanette Curci and Rose Norton. He was the brother of the late Norman, Alfred and Domenic Barricelli, Grace Petrone, Etta Abbott and Yolanda Barricelli. Nick also left behind his longtime companion, a Labrador Retriever named Ruben.
To honor Nick’s request, his funeral and burial at St. Ann Cemetery were private.
