Michalina Ann Di Bonaventura

MICHALINA A. DI BONAVENTURA (GENTILE), 86, of Johnston, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the beloved wife of Rocco DiBonaventura. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Maria (Corrado) Gentile.

Mrs. DiBonaventura had worked for Excell Manufacturing before retiring. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her devoted son, John DiBonaventura and his wife Shirley; three treasured grandchildren, Dayla Simeone, Shawna Ferreira and John DiBonaventura, Jr. and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation Friday morning, June 21, 2013 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
