Melinda Tacelli

TACELLI, MELINDA (ALTIERI), 91, of Greenville Ave., passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Albert S. Tacelli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Altieri and Eugenia (Carcieri) DeCubellis.

Melinda was a long-time communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church and was a member of the St. Ann Sodality as well as the Alter Society.

She is survived by a son, William Tacelli and his wife Carol; a daughter, Barbara DeMeo and her husband Leonard; a brother, Alfred DeCubellis; three sisters, Helen Jardine, Angela Thompson, and Phyllis Parente, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frederick, William, and Anthony Altieri Jr., Viola Grillo, Margaret Macedonio and Anna Altieri.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd.
