Melinda B. Bailey (Caprio), 52 of North Providence passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2016. She was the beloved wife of James Bailey. They were happily married for 31 years.
Born in Providence, she was a cherished daughter of Ina and the late Armando Caprio.
Melinda was a Registered Nurse for Women & Infants Hospital for many years before her retirement. She served as President of The Saint Thomas School Board, and as Youth Group Leader.
Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Ryan Bailey and wife Nicole and Kevin Bailey and partner Marissa Rose. She was also the devoted sister of John and Lisa Caprio, and Doreen Reynolds. She was Aunt to Nicholas and John Caprio, David, and Hayley Reynolds., Patrick and Cameron Bailey, Alison and Kayleigh Baeder. She will be missed dearly by her best friend Linda Polucha, and Olivia and Ben Mederios.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 9th at 9am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Friday 4-7pm.
