Mary C. “May” Del Gigante (Melucci), 84. of North Providence, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent “Jim” Del Gigante. Born in Lawrence, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Clara ( Lancelotti) Melucci.
Along with her husband, she had co-owned the former May-Dell, Inc. She also had been a hostess at the former Valley’s Steak House in Warwick. She loved to travel and dance.
May was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves two sons, James Del Gigante and his wife Brenda of Tampa, FL and Michael Del Gigante; a daughter, Anna DeSantis and her husband Steven; three grandchildren, Dennis Branca, Elisha Melillo and Arionna Del Gigante, and three great-grandchildren.
Her funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements by Maceroni Funeral Home.
