Mary J. (Tartaglione) SanMartino, 89, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the wife of the late Nicholas “Jay” SanMartino, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Turina (Caruso) Tartaglione.
Mrs. SanMartino worked for Citizens Bank before retiring.
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her two daughters, Joan Varan and her husband Richard and Sabrina SanMartino; and a granddaughter, Morgan SanMartino. She was the sister of the late Nicholas Tartaglione and Frances Tartaglione.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, September 1, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. followed by a service at 10 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Donations in Mrs. SanMartino’s memory may be made to: Cherry Hill Manor Activities Fund, 2 Cherry Hill Rd., Johnston, RI 02919.
