Mary DeVito

Mary (Palazzo) DeVito, 91 of Johnston, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at Morgan Health Center. She was the beloved wife of Phillip J. DeVito for 70 years. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Marie (D’Ambrosca) Palazzo.
Mrs. DeVito worked as a floral designer for the Calart Flower Company before retiring.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, John DeVito and his late wife, Ruth; a brother, Anthony Palazzo; two step sisters, Madelyn and Lucy; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Phillip J. DeVito, Jr. and the stepsister of the late Pasquale “Pat” Palazzo.
Her funeral and burial will be private. Visitation respectfully omitted. Donations in Mary’s Memory may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2374 Post Road, Suite 206, Warwick, RI 02886.
