Mary C. Boonas

MARY C. BOONAS, 93, a Johnston resident for over fifty years, passed away quietly and peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2006, at Berkshire Place in Providence. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Boonas. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Teresa (D’Attoro) DiNapoli. She had worked as a machine operator for the former U.S. Rubber Company in Providence.
Mary, affectionately known as “Aunt May”, was a devoted aunt to her nieces Kathy Cardente and Cindy Placella and adored her great nephews Bryan and Chris Cardente and Matt Placella and her great niece, Nicole Placella. She also leaves her loving sister, Laura Longo and many other nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Domenic, Albert, Armand, Vincent and Frederick DiNapoli. Her caring heart will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

VISITATION Saturday morning from 9:15 to 10:15am at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Our lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Please omit flowers.
