Mary A. Langella (Mae) (Pimentel), 84, of Cedar Spring Terrace, Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at The Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Louis Langella and mother of the late MaryLou Osenkowski. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Hendriques) Pimentel and sister of the late Amelia Penna, Joseph Pimentel, Rose Rivet, Peter Pimentel and Dolores Belanger. A loving and caring person, she will be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives.

Mae was a retired supermarket employee having worked for A&P and Almacs for over 30 years until retiring in 1988. She was a member of Local 328 of the Retirees Union for more than twenty years having served as treasurer.

She is survived by her son, Vincent J. Langella and his wife Donna of Johnston; her son-in-law, Edgue Osenkowski; her grandsons, Jamie Chadwick and Ryan Osenkowski and two great grandchildren, Audrey and Liegha Chadwick as well as sisters, Sylvia Medeiros, Constance Langevin and brother, August Pimentel.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 8AM, from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston 02919. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling Hours Friday 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or St. Robert Bellarmine Church Emergency Food Shelf.
