Marvin C. Weisinger, 73, of Cranston, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Spetrini) Weisinger. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Ida (Nathansan) Weisinger.
Marvin was a truck driver for Lumetta and was also employed by North Providence Assembly of God and was a life member of the congregation. He was an advocate of Jews for Jesus and was an avid Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins fan.
Besides his wife of 49 years, he leaves a son, Derek Weisenger and two daughters, Lori Harrison and Sheila Joost and four grandchildren, Randy Joost, Michael Weisenger, Giana Mastrostefano and Brandon Mastrostefano. He was the brother of the late Maynard Weisinger
His funeral will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Service at 11 a.m. in North Providence Assembly of God, 244 Lexington Ave., North Providence. Visitation at the Funeral Home Thursday 5-7 p.m. Burial will be private.
