McGORAN, Marion McGoran (Poniatowski), 64, of Johnston, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Edward “Ray” McGoran. They were married for 42 years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Jean (Oleszewska) Poniatowski.
Marion had been working as a sales representative for Starkweather & Schepley Insurance Company. She was a loving wife and mother and a devoted grandmother. Besides her husband she leaves a son, Michael E. McGoran; two daughters, Carleen H. Lawson and Megan A. McGoran; two sisters, Janice Hitchen and Betty Ann Emond and three grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Stanley Poniatowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, July 6, 2007, in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Friends Disaster Relief Service, 5350 Boardmoor Circle N.W., Canton, Ohio 44709.
