Marie M. Silliman

Marie M. Silliman (Innocenti), passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Riverda O. “Joe” Silliman, Jr. Marie was born in Providence and is survived by her daughters, Lee Silliman, wife of the late Michael Walker, MD, of Chicago, and Dr. Barbara Silliman, an instructor at PC, RIC, and URI. She was the sister of the late Margaret Kraus and the late Ernest Innocenti. Her funeral will be held on Saturday July 14 at 9:00 am from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Thomas Church, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will take place at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Michael’s College – Michael Walker Scholarship Fund, PO Box 806397, Chicago, IL 60680 and to St. Thomas Church Food Pantry, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence, RI 02909.
