Marie J. Lonardo

MARIE J. (GILCHRIST) LONARDO, 83, of Providence, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Lonardo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Palma (Carparco) Gilchrist.

She is survived by seven sons, Edward, Raymond, Anthony, Stephen, John, Joseph and Robert Lonardo; a daughter, Eva Robidoux; a sister, Patricia Rader; fifteen grandchildren, Eddy, Jennifer, Chris, Mike, Anthony, Amanda, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Emily, Joseph, Kasey, Kimberly, Jack and Natasha and nine great grandchildren, Desmond, Xavier, Roman, Gavin, Ethan, Yelena, Aryana, Jalynn and Anthony, Jr.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Augustine Church Rectory, 20 Old Road, Providence, RI 02908.
