Marie Lonardo

Marie Lonardo ( Anatone), 81, of Johnston, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Angelo J. Lonardo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Carmella ( Calabro) Anatone.

Marie was a jewelry worker for various local manufacturers. She also worked for C.A. Courtesy Demo as a food product demonstrator at area Stop and Shops. She enjoyed playing cards and also enjoyed the outdoors. She especially loved to be surrounded by her family.

Besides her husband of 58 years, she leaves three sons, Steven Lonardo and his wife Susan J.; David Lonardo and his wife, Roselyn and Thomas Lonardo and his wife, Susan M.; a brother, Paul Anatone; a sister, Barbara Burns and four grandchildren, Andrew, Jennifer, Michael and Kate Lonardo. She was the sister of the late John Anatone and Angela Zaccagnini.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
