Marie (Tartaglione) Gazerro, of North Providence, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Cherry Hill Manor surrounded by her cherished family. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Gazerro for over 67 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James “Big Jim” and Maria (Tedesco) Tartaglione.
Mrs. Gazerro was a Bridal Consultant for Helene’s Bridal Shop, before retiring.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is also survived by her daughter, Donna Argenti and her husband Joseph; two grandchildren Toni-Marie (Argenti) Lynch and her husband Scott and James Argenti and his wife Daria; and two great grandchildren, Jayden Argenti and Addison Argenti. She was the sister of the late Anne Martin.
Visitation will be held TUESDAY MORNING, December 23, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 12 noon followed by a service at 12:15 p.m. at MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Gazerro’s memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, One Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02904.
