Marie L. Benetti

MARIE L. (IANNONE) BENETTI, 83, of Johnston, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at Cherry Hill Manor surrounded by her cherished family. She was the wife of the late Albert Benetti Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Adolfo and Rose (Sindoni) Iannone.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her three children, Albert Benetti Jr. and his wife Ann, Marianne Gober and her partner Victor Cardoso and Brenda Mattia and her husband Edward; six grandchildren; William Gober Jr., Daniel Mattia, Joshua Mattia, Christine Taddonio, Lisa Benetti and Catherine Benetti; and a great-granddaughter, Juliet Taddonio. She was the sister of the late Corado Iannone.

Her funeral will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
