Marie Emily Acciardo

MARIE E. ACCIARDO (TUTALO), 77, of Providence, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at home. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Acciardo for over 50 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary (Mollicone) Tutalo.

Mrs. Acciardo worked for First Line Products before retiring.

She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a loving cousin and friend. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Raymond Acciardo and his wife, Jeannie; a daughter, Marie Acciardo and her partner, Brenda Shanley; three grandchildren, Rachael Saltamacchia, Shana DiPetrillo and Brett Thomas and a great-grandson, Anthony DiPetrillo.

Her funeral will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence, RI 02909. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION SUNDAY 4 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Marie’s memory may be made to Holy Ghost Church.
