Marie "Carrie": Accetturo

Marie “Carrie” Accetturo (DeNucci), 95, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Accetturo and loving grandmother of the late Michael Accetturo II.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Tommasso and Annatella (Sferra) DeNucci.

She is survived by her loving sons, Michael T. Accetturo and his wife Marie, Emilio “Archie” Accetturo and his wife Roberta and Robert Accetturo and his wife Dianne. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, David, Brad, Marissa, Joshua, Juliana and Jillian; and dear great-grandchildren, Brianna, Madison, Isabella, Gian and Giavanna. She was the sister of the late, Anthony, Domenic, Cosmo and Raymond DeNucci, Nicolena Campagione, Josephine DeNucci and Rose Zinni.

Her funeral will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at 8am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am at Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be Sunday, April 26th from 4pm to 7pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
